		<description>http://www.desertusa.com/flora.html

Jonathon,

I just was checking out the above desertusa site for their flora, and they have a lot of information about plants (flowering, grasses, etc) that will grow in the desert.

They even have a starter seed kit with a variety pack.

<description>I'm pretty sure that most plants will be fine in 125 degrees - it is either the sun or not enough water that does them in. When looking at 'Zone' maps, telling you which plants will grow in what area, the only concern is for minimum temperature, not maximum.

Put them in the shade, water them daily, and you can grow pretty much anything. I'd try some lilies and hibiscus, and spread out from there.

There are also cacti and other desert grasses that will live if you can't water them daily. Check out Longwood Gardens' "Silver Garden" here: http://www.longwoodgardens.org/Orangery_1_3_2_4_1_1.html</description>
