Time to Get Your Political BOG on!

Alrighty folks, while many of us work 12-14 hours everyday except Sunday (which is probably just 8 hours), I am getting more into a pattern to start pushing some of my training documents and writings about how to win a political ground war utilizing Marine Corps strategies, tactics, and philosophies.

As well, we will identify the commonality between wining the ground war against terrorism and that of your political backyard.  You may be surprised how similar the strategy and tactics are (other then the small arms fire unless you do door knocking in Camden).

We will start next week by providing an opportunity to download training documents to help you be a better political warrior.   The information belongs to Corps Strategies, Inc (http://www.CorpsStrategies.com) and is strictly meant for patriots (i.e. constitutional-minded people who will work for the betterment of America).  I mention that because we cannot have liberals using our methodologies against us.

Since this is the early part of summer, there isn’t much door knocking occurring so we will first focus on working with the media to get your ideas out and motivate others to action.

Except for the weeks where I travel I hope to get a training document out at the beginning of each week.

Lastly, I will from time to time start providing opportunities to order books (new to 2,000 years old) that should be in every political warriors library.

If you have any questions or suggestions for grassroots topics to cover please simply ask.

Jonathan Looking forward to your training memos. Although the military model is suited for fighting wars where the goal is to kill people and not civilian political campaigns where the goal is to convince other people, there strategies that cross over, like “center of gravity” as Winning in Fast Time demonstrates.

It’s my contention that Marine Corps Maneuver Warfare (MCMW) blends perfect into business and politics and I look forward to demonstrating with real world examples in each environment how it made a positive impact. Like so much in life, it depends on how it’s taught and demonstrated.

Bottom line, MCMW is about doing more with less which of course all organizations wish to strive for.

The difference between Winning in FastTime and MCMW is that while Winning in FastTime is awesome for helping any type of organization look at its strategy it doesn’t go into the weeds (tactical and objective level) for the organization. Nothing wrong with that of course. In fact FastTime is arguably better at the strategic side then MCMW but then MCMW is more about executive tasks and objectives. There is no perfect tool. Each has a strength and weakness.

A strategy is a plan and you must have one. Without one you don’t know where you are going nor do you know if you are on the course for success or heading off to failure.

With MCMW you gain knowledge about the tactical level (i.e. boots on the grounds, setting tasks to be executed and monitored) as well as objective level (the linking of your strategy and tactics together).
